Blackbeards'
This is our absolute favourite restaurant on the island! It’s not a South Padre trip without Blackbeard’s.
Sea Turtle, Inc.
We love going here and looking at and learning about sea turtles! They have really big pools of baby sea turtles as you walk in, a bunch of huge tanks for some rescues who can’t make it to the wild, and an ampitheatre where they hold talks and help you learn more. The gifty shop is also our favourite! And all proceeds go to keeping the place up and helping sea turtles.
South Padre Island Birding And Nature Center
This is where we’ll be holding the wedding, but you should check it out before or after if you have the chance! It’s really cool to see the alligators in the Laguna and walking down the boardwalk to see what kind of birds and fish you can spot.
Port Isabel Lighthouse State Historical Park
This is over the bridge in Port Isabel. This is one of the coolest places, because you can make a donation to the historical society and go all the way up to the lighthouse! The surrounding park is so nice, we thought of having the wedding there.
Davey Jones Ice Cream Locker
Our favourite ice cream place! This is over the bridge in Port Isabel, and there’s a bunch of cool stores and places to eat around there. There’s also a statue of a pirate nearby for you to take a picture with!
Pirate's Landing
This is a really cool restaurant. You can even take a boat trip with a pirate as a guide!
