Our first date was 2/27/2019 at the Santa Barbara Symphony. Although Isaac says it was much earlier when they went to the movies together. He was so smooth Mariam didn't realize he was asking her out!

2/10/24--Mariam reached out to her friend Silvia to tell her she suspected Isaac would propose soon. Silvia reached out to Mariam's cousin Steph who then told Isaac he had to throw her off.....

At the Portland Rose Gardens Isaac was waiting with roses. I totally thought it was happening. Instead of proposing, he asked if I would be his Valentine. Pictured is me snatching the roses in shock

2/16/24 --In order to further confuse me, Isaac took me on a hot air balloon ride, which I'd always wanted to do! I thought "if he doesn't propose here, it's not happening today" Little did I know!

2/16/2024, SB, CA--Singing his own rendition of "Can you feel the love tonight" Isaac proposed in front of the place we often would karaoke this song together during our first months of dating.

Post proposal at the Red Piano

After the proposal, Isaac blindfolded Mariam and took her to a surprise post engagement party on a beautiful boat where close family and friends were waiting.

On September 14th in Alexandria, Egypt, we celebrated our engagement with Mariam's family--Many of whom still live in Egypt. Celebrating with them was an unbelievably unforgettable experience!
