Our story

Our love story began like many other couples during the covid pandemic: through online dating. Our first date was in Isaac's garage - restaurants were closed, it was too cold outside for a picnic, and we both had roommates who wanted to keep house visitors to a minimum to avoid exposure to the virus. We ate takeout and chatted all evening, both feeling a connection. We began spending more and more time together, soon getting the approval from roommates to move our dates inside. A few months into our relationship, Isaac began fostering Evie, a deaf pit bull. Evie required many long walks, and even more cuddles. As our love grew for Evie, we also fell in love with each other, and the three of us became a little family. In December of 2023, Isaac proposed while on vacation in Hawaii. The proposal happened on the beach and it was everything we had dreamed of. We were so excited to be engaged, despite knowing that we wouldn't be having our wedding for a few more years because of Lindsey's medical school schedule. On October 10th, 2025, we went to the courthouse and got married, exactly one year prior to our planned wedding ceremony and celebration. We chose to get married early to ensure that we would both have access to health insurance over the coming year, which was important with Isaac's diabetes and Lindsey turning 26. Despite being legally married, we are so excited to celebrate with you all at what will feel like our actual wedding this upcoming October - we hope to see you there!
