How We Met and Became Friends: We first met back in 2013 at Englishton Park Summer Camp. Lauren, majoring in Psychology, and Isaac working on an internship at the camp. This is no normal summer camp, as the focus is on helping children with behavior disorders prepare for the upcoming school year. We were specifically paired up for the whole summer due to our strong connection. The Directors of the camp would talk about how Chief Isaac was more relaxed and spontaneous, while Princess Lauren would keep us in line and on time - leading to the perfect combination. This was one of the hardest summers either of us ever experienced, and we had to learn to cooperate in high intensity situations. To this day, we look back and honestly believe we couldn't have made it through the summer without each other. Starting Our Relationship: Over the years, we slowly lost touch: College, Work, Distance, etc. On a whim, before the Indy 500 race in 2017, Isaac texted Lauren asking about attending the race the next morning. Although Lauren was delighted to hear from Isaac, she was sad to tell him there was no way to get tickets the night before the race. This sparked a continuing conversation that eventually led to Isaac asking Lauren on a movie date. When traveling together to Kentucky in October, we decided to make our relationship official. Lauren points out that Isaac *declared* that we are now dating, and didn't think to actually ask. Popping the Question: In the year 2020, after months and months in quarantine together, we decided to take a hiking trip to Brown County for Lauren's birthday. Isaac had the engagement ring on him and was ready to pop the question. He did not realize that the park would be extremely busy that weekend. Near the end of the day, we finally found an empty watchtower to take a photo of us and Nilus. That is when Isaac got down on one knee and proposed to Lauren, completely catching her off guard. And here we are!
