Maid of Honor
Stuck with me (Kim) since the womb, Nicole has been around for it all: from always starting any school with me, fighting over clothes as teenagers, graduating high school together, working together at Mr. Banh Mi, to now her helping me with my wedding. She is by far the more creative twin (give her credit for any beautiful paintings around) so I’ve lucked out with my made of honor.
Bridesmaid
Rachel and I (Kim) met by chance as roommates in college at University of Maryland. It’s not by chance that we’ve remained so close over the years despite any distance or time apart. She also brought her (my) puppy Rigby into my life during undergrad, which I may need to kidnap from her. Rachel is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met and is a very considerate friend. I have to say I’m so grateful she’s stuck around to now be with me on such a special day.
Bridesmaid
Brittney and I (Kim) were classmates at University of Maryland Eastern Shore in the physical therapy program. She was over so often, she was considered the honorary roommate. She’s quickly become my adventure buddy; it’s never a dull moment or hungry moment with this one. She’s been a reliable, kind, and fun person to tease and I’m very happy she’s still stuck with me.
Bridesmaid
Adam and I (Kim) have been friends since 2015; a friendship that has survived many months apart, me leaving to attend 2 different schools for years at a time, and more. He would probably help a stranger with his last dollar and is one of the best people I know. If you enjoy the signature drinks during the reception, he’s who you have to thank for creating these drinks and their names. If you don’t like them, then you must be confused.. Happy to have this one standing on *my* side of the aisle!
Best Man
Nishan and I (Isaac) met in the 2nd grade. We quickly became best friends and did almost everything together. This ranged from playing on the same soccer team, doing karate, to getting beat up together. Nishan is the kind of guy you always want in your corner. If you ever want to throw in the towel, Nishan will either tag in to help or go down swinging with you.
Groomsman
Nelan and I (Isaac) first met on an adventure to Six Flags. After a day of complete shenanigans and jokes, the two have been friends ever since. Nelan managed to teach me how to play basketball despite my lack of catching and throwing ability. Years worth of adventures and several Marvel phases later, we continue to geek out. If you ever need a true friend to be there for you or make you laugh, Nelan is your guy.
Groomsman
I (Isaac) did not expect to make any friends at physical therapy school and then I met Nick. He was my lab partner throughout school and chief walking buddy. We bonded through memes, anime, and constant PT jokes. Nick is easily the smartest person I have ever met. He came up with the most efficient ways to look busy during labs. Nick and his wife Emily were instrumental in helping plan out my proposal to Kim.
Groomsman
Barbie was my (Isaac) friend for about a decade and was one of the nicest people ever. She was the one that introduced me to Nelan and invited me to Six Flags to help me get through a tough time. Barbie was not only a supportive and loving friend, she was incredibly intelligent. Although Barbora passed away in 2020, she was meant to be a part of this day. She will be represented by a stone from one of her favorite places (Rockville Civic Center) that replicates similar stones created by her family.
