Following my (Kim) graduation from UMD, I went back to good old Montgomery College to take a few more prerequisites for physical therapy school. As it turns out, Isaac was doing the same thing in Physics II. Isaac loves to say I fell for him the moment he dramatically placed his arms on the table after he intentionally sat across from me, but it took a bit more effort than that on his part. I think his friends knew he liked me when he agreed to go on a first date that involved studying. Needless to say, not much studying got done and we talked for 12 hours straight. Isaac has admitted he knew he was in love on first date, I admitted it a little bit later. The next year, we both attended two different physical therapy schools in Maryland (3 hours apart) which was a trial to survive as students and as a couple in a semi-long distance relationship. Throw a pandemic into it, and things definitely became challenging to say the least. Despite it all, we survived and got through it all together stronger. If it didn't sound cheesy, we probably wouldn't be getting married, now would we?
