Newberg, Oregon is 25 miles southwest of Portland, about a 45 min drive. Situated in the Willamette Valley, this is the heart of Oregon wine country!
We hope you can take advantage of the beautiful scenery and incredible wine while you are here. There are quite literally hundreds of great wineries in the area, but some of our favorites are linked below.
If you'd like to get outside there is a wonderful nature preserve close by and many incredible hikes! Or, if you have the time, Newberg is roughly a 90 minute drive from a beautiful section of the Oregon Coast. We defintely recommend it!
Back in Portland, the annual Waterfront Blues Festival will be taking place this same weekend on the riverfront from Thursday-Sunday. They typically have a good lineup and sell day passes. We have linked that information below as well.
