What is the Dress Code?

Black Tie! Break out your ball gowns and tuxedos! Ladies, it may be grassy underfoot, so consider wearing something other than a stiletto. We are excited to get dressed up with all of you!

Do I need to be Vaccinated?

We request that our guests respect our wishes that only vaccinated people attend for the safety of all.

Do I need to wear a mask?

Depending on case counts closer to the event we will provide further details. It is our hope to not need to require masks.

Can we take photos?

Answer

Please no phones or cameras out during the ceremony. We will have a photographer there to capture the moment, so sit back, relax, and enjoy the day with us!

What can I expect from the weather?

Answer

In the beautiful mountains the weather can be unpredictable. Come prepared for comfortable temperatures during the day, but with unexpected wind or cold at night. Layers are advisable!

How do I get around?

Answer

Stowe is a driving area so you may want to rent a car. The Ceremony and Reception are on site at our recommended accommodations and there is a shuttle available on the Mountain Road. There are limited taxi options and uber is not available, so plan ahead!

When should I book my hotel?

Answer

Stowe is a resort town and September is prime late summer into leaf-peeping season. To ensure a comfortable and reasonable stay, please book your accommodations as soon as possible. We have options listed on the Travel page.
