BENITO JUÁREZ MEXICO CITY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Benito Juárez Airport is the best place to fly into. It has Terminals 1 and 2, which are connected by a train. Depending on which airline you take, you will arrive to one of the two, and also depart from the same one. For travels to/from the US, various Mexican Airlines (Aeromexico, Interjet, Volaris) and most major US Airlines (Southwest, American Airlines, United Airlines, Delta, Jet Blue) offer flights to Mexico City. If you're traveling from the US, please remember you will need to hold a valid US visa waiver authorization (ESTA - should be given at your departing airline/on the plane) and a valid passport for at least 6 months after your travel. By far, the easiest and cheapest way to get to/from the airport is using Uber. There are some other options but we highly recommend Uber. It's the same Uber app you already have in the US, in English. The rates listed will be in MX Pesos, but you will be charged in USD.

UBER

Uber is a ride share app, that is easily accessible from your phone's app store. By far, the easiest and cheapest way to get to/from the airport is using Uber. There are some other options but we highly recommend Uber. It's the same Uber app you already have in the US, in English. The rates listed will be in MX Pesos, but you will be charged in USD. AIRPORT AUTHORIZED TAXIS

If you don't want to use Uber, and didn't have a chance to pre-schedule your transportation, airport taxis (and vans) are readily available with a few options as soon as you exit the main immigration and customs areas, in both Terminals 1 and 2. The prices are posted by area, and these taxis are completely safe to use. You pay and book your taxi at the module and then as you exit the airport, you will be directed to where you need to take it. You can pay with credit card at the module.
