Fiesta Chic/Valentine's Day Attire (with Comfortable Shoes!)
Our buses will leave from the InterContinental Presidente Hotel at 1PM for Xochimilco. Please be in the hotel lobby by 12:30PM. XOCHIMILCO Xochimilco is a neighborhood most famous for it's extensive canal system. We'll float on brightly painted and decorated trajineras (a traditional large flat-bottomed gondola) along the canals and chinampas, artificial islands, lined with gardens and curtains of trees. These chinampas provide a lot of local produce for chefs of Mexico City. We recommend for our guests to either eat lunch prior to boarding the bus or pack a lunch/snacks for the boat ride. The bus trip will be about an hour long and the boat trip will be approximately 2 hours long. From there we will provide shuttle service to the rehearsal dinner site. LIGHT BITES / TOASTS at CASA XIPE in COYOACÁN In case there are those who would like to opt out of Xochimilco, we will have an additional bus leaving the hotel at 4PM for Casa Xipe.
