Dress code is Semi-Formal. We will be near the cliff side and rain is always a possibility in Ireland, so a rain jacket and sensible shoes for walking are a good idea!
The weather in Ireland in September tends to be quite good according to Irish standards. Expect long mild fall days with spells of rain. The average temperature in June ranges from highs of 17°C/62°F and lows of 11°C/51°F.
The ceremony will take place at Hag's Head, the southern point of the Cliff's of Moher. After the ceremony, we will relocate to Gus O'conner's Pub for the reception. ** In the event of bad weather we will hold the wedding ceremony at a cottage in Hag's Head.
The primary ceremony location will be outside, but in the event of bad weather, an inside secondary ceremony location will be prepared in a cottage near the Cliff's of Moher. The reception will be indoors at Gus O'Connor's Pub in Doolin, a 20-25 minute drive from Hag's Head.
Following the ceremony, we will be holding a photoshoot with family and friends. Guests will head to Gus O'Connor's in Doolin for the reception.
Guests have the options of taking a local taxi or renting a car. Please arrive to the venue with plenty of time to spare. The ceremony will start at 4PM, so we recommend arriving around 3PM to take in the views before we begin.
