Travel Note
Midtown Savannah offers a selection of chain hotels at a lower price point than in Downtown/Historic area. Midtown Savannah is not a walkable area, a 20 minute car ride to the wedding venue and 30 minutes to River Street. Most hotels have 'SavannahDowntown/Historic District' or 'Savannah Midtown' as part of the hotel's name. If you prefer to be in walkable areas, select a hotel with Downtown/Historic District included in a hotel's full name.

Savannah airport is 15-20 minute car ride to Downtown/Historic area. Uber/Lyft is readily available throughout Savannah. Rental cars are not needed as Downtown/Historic area is a very walkable area.
