We have chosen the historic Desoto Savannah as our preferred wedding hotel for guests. It is centrally located, easily walkable to many shops and restaurants and only a 10 minute walk to Forsyth Park, the wedding venue location.
Spring Cocktail Attire The ceremony and strolling reception will take place mostly outdoors. Ladies, choose your heels carefully as areas of the reception will be on the hotel’s event lawn. Make sure to wear your favorite dancing shoes as we will dance the night away in the air conditioned Carriage House!
Thank you for asking this question in advance. We truly appreciate your understanding of the venue constraints we are working with as we plan our special day of celebrating with you all. Invitations will be arriving in November, with directions on how to RSVP on our wedding website. We are only able to accommodate guests listed on your invitation and RSVP section.
Unfortunately, as our venue is not suitable for little ones, this will be an adults only ceremony and reception. While we really look forward to spending a night celebrating with all our ‘grown up’ friends & relatives, we also look forward to finding time in the months after our wedding to play with all our favorite littles on more kid friendly turf!
Space will be provided on each RSVP for guests to address food concerns. We will notify Hotel Bardo of any reported food allergies.
