Let him tell it, we met at the illustrious Jones High School, in Orlando, FL, August of 1995. Although D and I did not run in the same circles, I knew who he was and he could say the same about me. My baby was an athlete, but above all of that, I would say he was a hype man. Always smiling and making someone laugh. Towards the end of our senior year he asked what school I was going to attend after graduation. When I told him, unbeknownst to me, he was plotting then! He even told me that he would cook for me. Although he kept his composure during that conversation, and we ended up attending separate universities, somehow we met up again at the FL Classic. We exchanged numbers and a few pleasantries, and went our separate ways. We had a few phone conversations, but that was all it would be until one day he saw my picture on a classmate's facebook page. He hit me in the DM (lol), and asked for my number. Apparently it took too long so he sent me his. We agreed to meet up the next time I was in town, as geography kept us apart. After our first date I didn't think it was going anywhere. Matter of factly, I told my mom it wasn't. Boy was I wrong! I love him more than I ever knew I could love a man I wasn't related to. He showers me with love, he makes me feel safe, and I don't want to imagine my life without him by my side. Oh yeah, he likes to claim our anniversary as the day he DM'd me. Negative Ghost Rider! We have decided to profess our love in front of family and friends (we already talk to God), on our 6th anniversary. We hope that you can join us, but understand if you cannot. ~with Love, Golden Graham
