For those who love nature, Multnomah Falls is a beautiful place to visit, especially if you aren’t from the area. It’s a must see if you can. A truly wonderful spot to enjoy natures scenery and get in a good hike around the surrounding area! There’s a plentiful amount of hiking trails nearby. Just a 45 minute drive away on I-84. :)
One of our favorite spots to visit, Lacamas Lake is a great place to take a nice summer stroll, enjoy a nice picnic, or take a swim in the lake. The go to place for many of our dates! Located in Camas, Wa just under 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver.
If you are up for a leisurely hike, we recommend Gillette lake! While also a great backpacking spot, it’s the perfect day hike and also Brook friendly (doggo approved!). One of many great hikes in our area, and one of those many that have been etched in our adventure book. :)
Located right along the Columbia river, this spot is a beautiful place to explore and visit. Located just 15 minutes downtown, it’s a wonderful place to take in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Also, (surprise, surprise) a date spot of me and Isaac’s! We held several picnic dates here, and had a few walking dates where my family ended up joining when we first started dating. All good memories, and still a favorite spot of ours to this day! :)
The waterfront has plenty of spots to visit whether you are hungry, wanting to shop, or explore! Our favorite restaurants Twigs and Wildfin are great spots to sit down and enjoy a meal beside the river. Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. :) A hotspot for several of our dates, and backdrop to many memories we’ve gotten to make together. From literally dancing in the parking lot, to admiring the sunset, and enjoying some ice cream at 10pm- it’s there to fit all memories you plan on making :)
Fort Vancouver is a beautiful place to visit if you are in town! With a garden, information center, and the opportunity to visit the historic fort, it’s a great place to learn more about the history of the area and explore. Located downtown! :)
Another great place to visit that is local! As both aviation lovers, Pearson is a wonderful place to visit and watch planes take off, or explore the museum and all it has to offer. Very close to the fort and officers row, it’s worth the trip. Located downtown as well! Being honest, me and Isaac have never been to this museum but we do come to Pearson to watch airplanes- so we highly recommend that past time activity! Bonus if you tune into ATC radio too :)
Located just where the Fort Vancouver Visitor Center is, Officers row is a great place to learn more about the history of the area, and observe the history behind the homes that line this area. A must visit, and located right downtown! :)
This is a far fetch travel experience- BUT, if you are up for the challenge we put it here just for you! A favorite place of mine and Isaac’s, and home to I’d say several date nights of ours. If you love sushi, and looking to explore a bit, located in Lake Oswego, bamboo sushi is worth the trip! With several delicious rolls, a favorite of ours is the Green Machine. Highly recommend!! Located 30 minutes away from downtown Vancouver. (A little adventure but who doesn’t love a good adventure?)
If you are a ice cream fan, we highly recommend visiting Salt and Straw! Another great date spot of ours, with so many amazing options and rotating flavors. In a beautiful area with great views, delicious ice cream, and of course the best part for me is getting to be there with my favorite person!
Another local favorite of mine and Isaac’s, several date nights have been held here! Delicious dishes, beautiful views, and of course a bonus for me: is a really cute date! :)
A great place to go for breakfast/brunch, also home to many of me and Isaac’s early morning dates before school/work. With so many options, really great pastries, and some good coffee/tea options! Fun fact: I used to be Isaac’s barista once upon a time when I used to work here- several surprise appearances made my day so I in turn gave him the best cup of (poured) coffee :)
A wonderful spot to visit not too far from our Venue that has live music, waterfront views, and a fun little mall filled with local goods. With wonderful food, great ambiance. and a beautiful spot- we have enjoyed our dates up to share a meal and walk along the river!
