Parents of the bride
Mom + Dad, I am humbled by your ability to uplift, encourage, correct, and love me through all 22 of my years. My parents have always been more concerned with the heart behind the action than the action itself. Their dedication and investment of time, prayers, and finances into me has not gone unnoticed. I am truly so grateful for my parents. Your ability to point me back to the Lord, and to teach me what it means to walk in faith has impacted me more than anything else. You will always be my parents and I’m so grateful for that. I love you both always, in all ways.
Parents of the groom
I truly would not be the man I am today without the best parents in the world, my mom and dad. I will forever be grateful to God for blessing me with them. Through all the good times and bad, my parents have always had my back and have always pushed me closer to the Lord. Their belief in me and their encouragement has allowed me to become the person I am today. From them, I have learned what it means to trust in God, to love others well and to seek God first in all things. I truly believe I’ll never stop learning from them. They are a true model of God’s patient, unconditional, sacrificial love for us. Thanks mom and dad for always cheering me on, pushing me to be my best, encouraging me to pursue my dreams and believe in myself and the hope I have in Christ!
Maid of Honor
My sister. I could not imagine getting married without Alyssa by my side as my Maid of Honor. Not only is she my best friend, but she is my encourager, travel partner, and the person who puts up with me no matter how weird I (or she) is. She is the most fun, honest, kind (+ sassy at the same time), and loyal friend I've ever had or will have. I learn so much about giving, loving, and serving from her. Alyssa is truly such a rare friend and I'm so lucky to have her as my sister/ Maid (of honor).
Bridesmaid
I've never met a more likable person. Her ability to light up a room and make people feel known and part of the group stands out more than anything else. She is every person's best friend. I remember hearing about Emily from Jacob for the first time and being so nervous to meet her! Emily's laugh is contagious and her willingness to follow the Lord above all else is inspiring. I cannot wait to be Emily's sister-in-law!
Bridesmaid
Mitali! She has known me since the seventh grade, she has known me at my worst (Aeropostale t-shirts included) and my best. She is real, rooted, and so genuine. I always leave conversations with Mit knowing the Lord better and always laughing till my tummy hurts. Im grateful for your steadfast love, encouragement, exhortation, and ability to shop for HOURS. Mitali, you are my hype girl!
Bridesmaid
My go-to gal since the eighth grade. She is joyful, goofy, and oh so stylish. No matter how long we go without seeing each other or how far she goes (Orlando included), she always makes it feel like no time has passed at all. She has been my friend through every stage, surgery, break up, and now marriage. Bon, You always have a way to cheer me up. Im undeserving of your wisdom and joy. Bonnie, you are a genuine pal, the Micky to my Goofy.
Bridesmaid
I remember meeting Kristin for the first time during my senior year of high school and thinking "I'm going to have the best roommate ever"... and here I am post- Senior year of college thinking "I couldn't have asked for a better college roommate." She is wise beyond her years and encourages me in my walk with Jesus every day. She has compassion like no other and has the *best taste in music. Let me tell you, to know Kristin is to know joy. Kristin, I can't wait to sing every song on the dancefloor with you!
Bridesmaid
You don't know friendship till you've met Nikki Camp. I am so thankful for Sophomore year rush workshops because that is when we decided to be roommates. She is my encourager and she pushes me to be my best self. She challenges me to think outside the box and she is probably the funniest, most sociable person I know. She has everyone's best interest at heart. Nikki, I can't wait to boogie with you!
Bridesmaid
Sydni is a lifelong friend, my middle school roommate, and forever my cousin. She has been through it all: dress up, dance recitals, “camp,” and so much more! She is someone who will still be at the kids table with me and Alyssa at family Christmas 30 years in 2040. Sydni is driven, strong, and so loyal.
Bridesmaid
Rachel is loyal and so sincere, she is quick to be on your team. She is encouraging and thoughtful. She works so hard to be there for her people and never fails to show up to cheer me on. She is thoughtful in the way she makes you feel known... whether it's sending you links to articles she read that reminds her of you, or just filling you in on what's going on. She never fails to include others. Rachel, I can't wait to laugh all day with you!
Bridesmaid
Lauren is fiercely loyal to her people. Once she decides she is your friend, she will always be a person to encourage you, hear you out, or just listen and advise. I remember being so intimidated by her radiating confidence, but being her roommate has shown me how truly kind and genuine of a friend she! I can count on your ability to give honest feed back and to be down for anything. Lauren, you are a sunshine human and my sunshine friend!
Bridesmaid
Oh my goodness, where to begin. Allison is bold in her friendships. The way she pursues her people is unmatched. I remember when she became my little and she was so concerned about how I felt about her because I introduced her as "my little"... She have always been much more than "my little", but she is a best friend. She constantly cares and wants to know me and she meets me where I am at. Allison, you are a rare gem!
Bridesmaid
I've never met anyone as nurturing, inclusive, and service-minded as Gentry. She is unbelievably encouraging and is genuine in the way she loves others. She shares the gospel every day through her joy and compassion to others. She looks for opportunities to bless others, and I have been so blessed to know her in college. Im grateful for every Chick-fil-A date, walk, and chat. Gentry, you are genuine!
House Party
Layne Matthews is the most uplifting, wise, and FUN. If sunshine had a name, it would be “Layne.” I am so grateful to have her in my Chi Omega family but more importantly, I’m glad to have her as a friend. Grateful for this nugget!!!
House Party
Julia is spunky, fun, deep, and so kind! I’m grateful for every coffee date, chio family hang out, and Monday meeting I’ve spend sitting with Julia. She brings light hearted joy and always sweet insight to every conversation! I can’t imagine my last year off college without her there! Julia, you are bright!!
Ring Bearer
Cannon is the kindest, sweetest, most respectful little man. He already mirrors a gentleman and proves to be so well mannered. Stephanie and Chris, as well and my cousin Sarah, Aunt Karen, and Uncle Tommy, have been such a sweet part of my life- so it is such an honor to have Cannon Roland as my ring bearer.
Best Man
I’m so thankful God brought Alex, and the entire Jones family, into my life over 10 years ago. Our friendship began quite honestly the first day we met and we haven’t looked back since! Alex is a loyal friend and brother that truly exemplifies what it means to trust in the Lord and serve Him diligently. Alex truly pushes me to chase after the Lord and points me back to Him in all I do. I’m truly thankful for all the memories we have been able to make together and am honored to have Alex by my side on Nov 1 to add some more!
Groomsman
Brody Hill. Gym rat, Lulu Lemon enthusiast and one of a kind friend. Brody and I have known each since we were little kids but truly grew close our Senior year of high school. Brody is true to himself, always kind, and good for a sarcastic comment at just the right time. Brody pushes me to pursue Christ with diligence and to put others before myself.
Groomsman
You’ll never meet anyone else quite like Scott. Scott is as organized and driven as he is adventurous and spontaneous. Best of all, Scott is a true example of a servant leader. You can always count on Scott (he is a Boy Scout after all) to have your back and be there for you. He looks for the best in people and loves others as Christ would. I can’t imagine what college would have been like had we not met freshman year and am looking forward to our friendship in the future and for Scott to eventually move to Dallas (right Scott?!).
Groomsman
Blake and I met our freshman year at A&M when we became twins in our fraternity. To say that God orchestrated that would be an understatement as Blake and I grew closer than I think we ever thought we would over the past 4 years. We’ve shared many, many laughs, conversations, football games and hangouts. Through it all, Blake’s passion for the Lord has pushed me in my own walk with Christ. Blake’s heart for others is truly something I look up to and I’m thankful to have such a great brother in Christ. #GladeVibesOnly
Groomsman
My little! I still remember the day I met Jack in the backyard at my house. His humility struck me right away and we bonded over our passion for Aggie football and video editing. When I became Jack’s big, I was excited to share with him wisdom and advice that the Lord had taught me during my time at A&M and what ended up happening was that Jack taught me so much more. Jack is a true example of what it looks like to walk humbly with God. No matter the circumstance, Jack always seeks the Lord first and gives Him the glory rather than receiving it himself. I’m incredibly proud to call Jack my little, friend and groomsman!
Groomsman
Walter is one of the most Joyful people I have ever met. No matter his circumstances, he’s always smiling and laughing it up. His attitude can truly lift any room and make even the most reserved person come out of their shell. Walter is inclusive and is always looking out for others before himself. Walter is one of the biggest encouragers and is someone who I’m truly proud to link arms with in the race of life.
Groomsman
Blake and I became close during pledgeship freshman year. Blake is always open to brainstorm and talk big ideas, which is how we got to know each other in the first place. Our drive to be ambitious has allowed us to sharpen iron with iron and become better followers of Christ as a result. Blake is someone who always challenges me to be the best version of myself and work for the Lord, rather than man.
Groomsman
While I haven’t had the pleasure of knowing Evan for as long as some, the impact he has had on my life has been immense. There’s truly not a dull moment when Evan is around. His ability to transition from cracking jokes to talking life is remarkable and always leads to memorable conversations. Evan truly cares about others and is always quick to listen, share wisdom and make fun of me for how much Chick-Fil-A I eat.
Officiant
For the past 9 years I have had the privilege to learn from Andy. First, as my church choir director who encouraged me to let loose and dance, and then as a friend & mentor who has encouraged me to chase after Christ in all I do and trust His plan over my own. Andy lives his life and chases after the Lord with an unmatched energy and passion. No project or problem is too big for him, not because of who he is, but because of who he serves, Jesus. Out of all the words of wisdom Andy has shared with me over the years, what I admire most is that he leads by example. It’s easy to talk the talk, but what I strive to replicate in my own life is how Andy walks the walk as well. We are truly honored to have Andy officiate, and even more honored to have the entire Pearson family in our lives!
