Our wedding will heavily center around our Nigeria heritage and culture. For a portion of the reception we will wear traditional Yoruba attire and will dance to a blend of sounds from across the continent of Africa.
We will also embrace the Nigerian tradition of “Money Spraying”! This involves delicately placing each individual bill on the celebrant or simply showering them with individual bills while they dance. It symbolizes a showering of happiness & good fortune, and is a display of the guest's affection for the couple.
The dress code for the wedding is Semi-Formal and we would like for our guests to wear different shades of Jewel Tone colors (pinks, purples, navy, emerald green, burgundy, gold etc)
