Airbnb

If you're traveling to NYC and need a place to stay, we recommend checking out Airbnb listings. Our wedding will take place in the Stuyvesant Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, but with public transportation and taxi services, you can easily stay anywhere else in the city, if you'd like. Some of our favorite Brooklyn neighborhoods include: Williamsburg, Boerum Hill, Park Slope and Bushwick, which is where we live. Or if you'd like to stay in Manhattan, we recommend: Lower East Side, West Village, East Village, or pretty much anything below 14th St. If you're hesitant about a spot, feel free to ask us!

If you're up to risking a last minute reservation, this is a great app we like to use that allows you to find really great last minute hotel deals. The way it works is that they post hotel rooms up to a week in advance, rooms that would have otherwise gone unbooked. The caveat is that you can only book a few days before your stay. Rooms usually start around $150, but prices may vary in November.
