How do I get to Akwaaba Mansion?

Answer

The closest subway is the A/C line at Utica Avenue, about a six minute walk to the venue. If you're driving, please note that the venue is located on a quiet residential street, so you may want to allow a few extra minutes to find street parking.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive at 4pm. We will start the ceremony shortly after.

Is there a dress code?

Party chic. We're getting married at a gorgeous mansion in Brooklyn. Have fun with it!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have limited capacity because of the venue size, so if your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you. Thank you for understanding!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will be at Spritzenhaus in Greenpoint on Friday night. Come join us for beers and bratwurst! There will be no planned activities on Sunday, November 12th, so if you are traveling back home that day, no need to worry about missing anything.
