Here are some coommon questions we answered for you!
Question

Can I use my phone during the ceremony or take pictures/videos?

Answer

We are having an "Unplugged" Ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. We have hired a wonderful professional photographer to capture this special moment in our lives. We kindly ask that you respect our wishes of absolutely no cell phone use during the ceremony. We promise you will have many opportunities to take photos at the reception!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by August 30th, so we can give our vendors an accurate count!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered on amazon! There is a link here on the website directly to it for you. We are also open to guests using other websites as well.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Kindly arrive by 3:45pm, the ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the intimacy of the venue, we are not able to extend invitations to plus ones.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children are wonderful, but parents deserve a break every so often. Thus, the ceremony and reception will adults-only!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We do! We have a block of hotel rooms available, there is a URL on our website for you to use under the travel section!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Street parking is free on the weekends in downtown Grand Rapids. There is also a parking garage right across the street!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes there is ! We are doing “Cocktail Attire" We ask you to please wear a suit (tie optional) or dress pants with dress shirt; or please wear your favorite cocktail dress, dressy blouse and skirt, or a jumpsuit. But wear something that makes you feel the best! We also kindly ask that you avoid colors that are traditionally reserved for the bride such as whites, ivories, and creams.
