We're Getting Married!

If you ask Frank where they met, he will always say “church.” But really Erin was the coffee to his bagel. Their first messages were about Harry Potter. That conversation magically led to their first date at San Pedro Square Market. They enjoyed pork belly burgers together. Of course Frank made his a double. When he asked Erin if she wanted to add a second piece of meat to hers as well, she knew it was a match made in heaven. Once they realized that they both had a passion for food and travel, the rest was history.

Frank wants to live in San Diego. Erin wants to stay in the Bay Area. So they compromised . . . and they will live in the Bay Area (Frank's go to joke). But to keep Frank happy, Erin and Frank make many trips down to San Diego throughout the year to eat tacos and Phil's BBQ and to enjoy the beautiful weather. On their last trip, they took a drive to the La Jolla Cliffs in their Mustang convertible. With full stomachs and wind in their hair, Frank serenaded Erin with his rendition of "Titanium." When they arrived, Frank mentioned that his stomach was hurting. Erin figured it was just the tacos they ate for lunch and/or gas (little did she know it was nerves). The sun was setting, and Erin started taking pictures as she felt a tap on her shoulder. Frank was attempting to tell her something, but she was too distracted by the scenery. When Erin finally turned around, Frank was down on one knee asking for her hand in marriage. She proceeded to yell, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" . . . which meant "yes." Their friends jumped out of the bushes to celebrate with them. It was the perfect proposal in the perfect city.
