Zachary and Ilyse met on Hinge, they each had their distance set for a 20 mile radius but were somehow matched 85 miles away. The first conversation they had was Zachary asking for book recommendations, and Ilyse mentioned House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski. As it turns out, it was both of their favorite book, and they started talking from there. Ilyse and Zachary started dating June 4th, 2022, and were engaged October 9th, 2025 in a beautiful cabin in the mountains in Berea, Kentucky. They are beyond excited to see everyone at their wedding October 31st, 2026!
