Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is an adventure park located above Glenwood Springs, Colorado, about 160 miles west of Denver. Prior to 2003, only cave tours were available until a major expansion took place. The park is unique because it sits at an altitude of 7,100 feet on a mountain above Glenwood

Mushroom Rock Hike

Mushroom Rock is a 2 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Carbondale, Colorado that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, running, rock climbing, and nature trips and is best used from April until November.

It's also known for high-end restaurants and boutiques, and landmarks like the Wheeler Opera House, built in 1889 during the area’s silver mining boom. Maroon Bells

The Maroon Bells are two of the most photographed mountains in all of North America. A reflective lake and two giant snow-striped mountaintops, named Maroon Peak and North Maroon Peak, anchor a blissful panorama exemplified by a symphony of color that changes with the seasons. Located just 10 miles west of Aspen or 16 from Snowmass up Maroon Creek Road off Hwy. 82 in a glacial valley, the 14,000-foot peaks (fourteeners) truly epitomize the beauty of the Rocky Mountains.

Hanging Lake

Hanging Lake is one of Colorado’s otherworldly gems. Its wispy waterfall tendrils, gumdrop-green waters, cliffside location (hence the name) and lush surroundings make it one of the state’s most popular hikes and are why it was named a National Natural Landmark in 2011.

Independence Pass

Independence Pass, originally known as Hunter Pass, is a high mountain pass in central Colorado, United States. It is at elevation 12,095 ft on the Continental Divide in the Sawatch Range of the Rocky Mountains. The pass is midway between Aspen and Twin Lakes, on the border between Pitkin and Lake counties
