Do I have to stay at the wedding resort?

Answer

While you are not required to stay at our resort, we hope you'll choose to stay at Secrets Playa Mujeres through our room block! Booking through our group helps us meet our room block requirements and ensures you receive the best available rates, perks, and a seamless experience with the rest of our guests. If you prefer, the neighboring Dreams Playa Mujeres is also a great option. Guests staying at Dreams have access to Secrets, making it easy to join us for all of the wedding festivities. No matter where you decide to stay, we kindly ask that you communicate your travel plans with our travel agent, Jodi. She'll help ensure everything is coordinated smoothly and that you're included in all wedding-related travel information.

How many nights should we stay?

Answer

The minimum stay at Secrets Playa Mujeres is 3 nights. Our room block includes both 5-night and 7-night options, but shorter or longer stays may also be available based on resort availability. Whether you join us for a long weekend or turn it into a full vacation, we'd love to celebrate with you! Our travel agent, Jodi, can help you find the option that works best for your schedule and budget.

Will there be other wedding events?

Yes! We'll be celebrating throughout the week with a few optional events before and after the wedding. A full itinerary will be shared closer to the big day.

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is Resort Formal. We invite you to dress up while embracing the tropical setting! Think lightweight suits, dress shirts, or linen for the gentlemen, and floor-length, midi, or elevated cocktail dresses for the ladies. We recommend choosing breathable fabrics and comfortable shoes suitable for an outdoor celebration in warm weather.
