If you know us, you know this was never going to be your average wedding. Mexico has always held a special place in our hearts. Much of Ileana's dad's side of the family lives there, and the culture, traditions, food, and vibrant atmosphere have been an important part of her life for as long as she can remember. Choosing to get married in Mexico felt like the perfect way to honor that part of her family while celebrating the coming together of both of ours. Our wedding is more than just the joining of two people—it’s the blending of two families, two cultures, and all the love and traditions that have shaped us. With our family and friends coming from Missouri, Minnesota, New York, Florida, Seattle, Canada, Italy—and many places in between—we thought, "Why not meet somewhere beautiful?" Rather than asking everyone to travel to one hometown, we're inviting our favorite people to come together for an unforgettable week filled with sunshine, laughter, incredible food, and memories we'll cherish forever. We know this isn't your typical wedding, and we also know that traveling to Mexico is a big commitment. There is never an expectation that everyone will be able to make the trip, but to those who can, thank you. Your willingness to celebrate alongside us in such a special place means more than we could ever express. We truly cannot wait to spend an unforgettable week with all of you.
