We have private buses between the Courtyard Tysons Corner Marriott (where out-of-towners are recommended to stay) and the Piedmont Club. On wedding day, one bus will depart the hotel at 9:45am, and the next one at 10:15. Seating is first-come, first-served. On the back end, one bus will depart the venue (Piedmont Club) to return to the hotel at 3:45pm; the other will leave at 4pm.
11:00am would be good! That's when the ceremony itself starts. (We'll probably sign a ketubah at 10:30am, if you're interested in that kind of thing.)
Yes, the Piedmont Club has parking right outside their clubhouse, where our ceremony and reception will take place.
Not really! We recommend "spring dressy" attire, like what you'd wear to synagogue, church, or a garden party...in May on the east coast (which can have variable weather.)
Our registry is through Zola and linked to this page, though the gift that would please us most is your presence.
Our "bruncheon" will be vegetarian/kosher-friendly, so there should be something for everyone.
We love kids--but our huge group of wonderful family and friends is already pushing up against the venue's limit (as per the Virginia fire code), so unfortunately we can't invite them to the ceremony/reception. However, we are happy to help you find qualified babysitters and sitting services within the DC area. Please be in touch if you'd like us to give you some contacts.
