Some of our guests including us will be staying at Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja Lagos, which offers good amenities and easy access to the wedding venue. As with any big city, Lagos is vibrant and busy, generally safe, but we encourage guests to take usual travel precautions. If you’d like help coordinating transport or arrival logistics, let us know!
Travel Precautions
- Lagos has areas of high activity and heavy traffic. While many parts of Ikeja (especially around well-known hotels) are generally safe, we recommend limiting night-time road travel where possible and using trusted taxi/shuttle services.
- Avoid carrying large amounts of cash when out. It’s safer to use hotel safes or keep cash minimal.
- For overseas guests: make sure your accommodation booking is confirmed, and share your arrival/travel plan with someone (especially if arriving late at night).
