After exchanging numbers, Demonica famously ghosted the first text, but she certainly showed up for their first kiss—a thirty-minute moment of pure butterflies neither of them wanted to end. Their first date, a deliciously messy time at the Boiling Crab, confirmed they had found their home in one another. In 2016, Demonica asked the biggest question with a romantic gesture that made their love story come full circle. She wrote "Will you marry me?" with two checkboxes, "Yes or Yes," right on Ijeoma's car—a nod to how she asked her to be her girlfriend years before. Over the past 12 years, they’ve been building an empire together: 2017: Started a t-shirt business. 2023: Moved into their home. 2025: Launched their trucking company.
