The ceremony will start promptly at 3pm. We asked that you please arrive early so you will be able to be seated. Doors will not be opened once the professional starts and when the ceremony is over.
We would like for all of our guests to be comfortable, yet presentable. The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal attire. We request that you refrain from wearing all white; leave that attire up to the bride and groom.
We encourage all of our guests to take pictures; however, during the wedding ceremony you may only take pictures from your seat. We ask that you do not stand to take pictures, with the exception of the procession of the bride. This allows the official photographer to maneuver effortlessly around the chapel as well as helps to preserve the sacredness of the wedding ceremony.
For the wedding ceremony, yes you may. We just request that you let us know in advance. As for the reception, you may not bring a date. We are not able to invite everyone because of limited seating.
Yes, children are allowed. However, UMSL has a strict no food or beverage policy. All types will be prohibited. Please be mindful that this is a very special occasion for the bride and groom and we ask that you please maintain supervision over your child(ren). If your child(ren) become restless, you may take them out of the ceremony into the vestibule or into the garden until they become settled again.
