We somehow managed to spend 3 years at the same company without crossing paths outside of the casual water cooler talk every now and then. Admittedly both lingering in the kitchen a few minutes longer to catch each other and talk about our families, travels, hobbies, weekends... all in the office kitchenette! As time went on Natalie unabashedly developed a crush on Ryan - getting butterflies every time she’d run into him around the office. Outside of work it seemed as if fate continued to put us in each others' paths, running into each other aisle after aisle at our neighborhood grocery store, catching each other out on our bike rides and runs, and finally out at a fan favorite bar in San Francisco, Jaxsons. In a room filled with many of our friends and coworkers alike, we found ourselves continuing to be drawn into conversation with one another. Ryan (finally) asked Natalie out on a date to grab drinks in our neighborhood, where we quickly learned we had a lot more in common than the company we worked at! Over the next few months of sushi nights, camping trips, Marina runs, dog sitting weekends, beach beers, and (attempted) surf dates, we made some of our favorite memories in San Francisco — a city that will always hold such a special place in our hearts. It didn’t take us long to fall fast and hard for one another, and well, the rest is history :)
