Please RSVP and let us know if you’ll be able to celebrate in person with us by Sept. 1st, 2019. You can RSVP on this site by going to the RSVP tab in the menu.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm. Please plan to arrive by 5:10, so that you are seated and ready when the ceremony begins. Middleton Place is a big property so you will need time once you arrive to park (or exit the shuttle), and walk through the gardens to get to the ceremony location.
Thank you for thinking of us. You can access our registry through our wedding website (this page), by clicking on “Registry” in the menu tabs! Various gift options are all hosted in that one registry.
Arrive when you can! But we definitely recommend making a weekend out of it if you can! Charleston’s a great city with lots to do! If you have the time come on Friday, and join us for our welcome party in downtown Charleston that night. Take some time to explore in the morning, and then get ready to celebrate that evening. Make sure to eat as much food as you can while you’re there!
While we’d love for everyone to bring who they want, we are unable to extend plus one’s to everyone because of space limitations. All invitations are addressed specifically to those who are invited. We hope you understand.
Yes! We will have a welcome party for all guests on Friday night. The welcome party will be Friday night at Tradd’s in downtown Charleston. See the schedule page for more information.
Our wedding is semi-formal. Our google search defined this as suits, and dresses. Make sure to check the weather ahead of your trip to see if you should bring a wrap or jacket with you (or maybe just sunscreen). We also suggest wearing thick heels (if you plan on wearing high heels) because you will be walking on grass most of the evening.
We can’t make any predictions here, but we’re hoping for the best! Usually in Charleston, this time of year is between the 70s to the mid 80s. The majority of our wedding will be outside (weather permitting). Check before your trip so that you can plan accordingly.
Middleton Place (the venue-garden and museum and the Inn) is located along the Ashley River to the northwest of downtown Charleston. It’s about a 25 minute drive from the downtown area.
There is ample parking at our venue if you plan to drive. We will also be offering some shuttle options from our recommended hotels. See “Travel” in the menu to learn more about our recommended hotels and our shuttle schedule.
Yes. Please see the travel page (will be updated closer to the date) to see the shuttle schedule. The shuttle will only be available to and from the Francis Marion and Hampton Inn hotels listed there. The Inn at Middleton Place is next to/attached to our wedding venue. Uber is also also an option!
