This is one of Morgan's favorite places in the area. The walk is lovely, the ice cream is delicious, and the junior ranger stamps have been collected 7 times and counting. This would be a great stop making your weekend a vacation!

Surprise! Did you know that the nation's geographic center is in South Dakota? It's a cute place to snap a photo, check-in on facebook, and send your best friends a post card!
Devils Tower National Monument
Another great monument to check out the Tower, hear the screaming prairie dogs, and take a short, easy hike around the base of the monument.
Crazy Horse
Mad at the government? Go ahead and skip Mount Rushmore and head straight to Crazy Horse, where not a single penny of government funding is accepted. See the plans for the progress of the monument, walk through the visitors center, and if you are in town on the 7th, experience the volksmarch! A march up to the face of the monument.
