The easiest way to get to Cartagena directly from the U.S. are direct flights from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and New York City.
A LOT of you have been asking about Medellin AKA Michelle's family's home town. If you're interested in visiting, here you will experience more of a city atmosphere with plenty to do! The airport in Medellin is Jose Maria Cordova International Airport; just about a one hour flight from Cartagena. The airport is located about 25 min from the city. For transportation in Medellin we recommend Uber. Avoid taking taxis unless arranged through your hotel. Feel free to reach out to us for recommendations.
