Iban chose to propose here while we at the "Illuminations" exhibit so we might be biased, but it's one of the best spots in town.
Japanese Tea Garden
Going to Japan is definitely a bucket list item for us! But in the mean time, it's always nice to visit this mini version of a Japanese Garden while at home.
Pearl Farmers Market
Fair warning, this is only on Saturdays/Sundays. It's grown a lot recently & is nice for a morning stroll.
Topgolf San Antonio
We used to go here a lot when we lived in the area. It's laid-back, & fun with a group!
Brasão Brazilian Steakhouse
This is our favorite Brazilian restaurant! Get ready for non-stop meat & the grilled pineapple is delicious!
1604 Cantina Food Truck Park
If you don't know what you want to eat, San Antonio's largest food truck park will have something for everyone! We end up here a lot. Plus, they have music during the weekends & a play area for kids!
Hoka Hoka Fuku
This is Iban's favorite spot for Katsu. It's a cozy spot & the katsus are good & filling!
Casa Pasta Italian Restaurant- Helotes
This is Jacel's favorite Italian spot! There are 2 locations, this is just the easiest one for us to go to.
Chicken N Pickle - San Antonio
A reliable spot to have fun with friends! Food, pickleball & most weekends have live music!
The Frosty Frog
This Texas heat is no joke! We swing by the Frosty Frog (usually after Hoka Hoka Fuku) to grab a raspa to cool down.

Very fun! It's lowkey, good for a date or friend outing!
Sumo Japanese Steakhouse
This is one of Iban's favorite restaurants. There was one point we were going once a month!
Laika Cheesecake & Espresso
There are a few locations around town. But it's a perfect size for dessert! Not too big to feel stuffed and weighed down.
TESO Life
An Asian mart that recently opened. If you've never been it's fun to go & check it all out. We recommend going at least once!
85°C Bakery Cafe - San Antonio
Cute little bakery! Prices are pretty reasonable too. You could stop here for a snack before walking around Teso Life.
