How can I reach the wedding venue on 28th May 2022?

Answer

By car and bus: Take the A 6 or A 656 in the direction of Mannheim Mitte until you reach the Planetarium (clearly visible building at the end of the central reservation). The last part of the motorway merges seamlessly into a main road, which leads to a large set of traffic lights. Get into the right-hand lane and continue on the B 37 in the direction of Neuostheim / Heidelberg. Approx. 200 m further on, after a pedestrian crossing with traffic lights to the tram stop, turn right into the "Friedensplatz" car park. By train and tram: Mannheim main station, then tram 1 (direction Rheinau) to Tattersall, continue with line 6 (direction Neuostheim) to the "Luisenpark" stop or, Tram 5 (direction Seckenheim) to stop "Luisenpark/Fernmeldeturm". Where can I find parking places on the 28 May 2022 in Luisenpark?

Answer

Our guests are encouraged to find parking spaces in the Friedensplatz car park. Parking in the courtyard is not allowed.

Question

How do I manage my entry into Luisenpark?

Answer

Our event will be reported to all Luisenpark ticket offices on the day in question. Our guests are to register at main entrances and will be admitted accordingly. At the end of your event, the Luisenpark will receive a report from event management about the number of guests. PLEASE NOT PAY ANY ENTRY FEES for the park. This has already been done by Ian and Anu :)

What can I do on the 27th of May 2022 if I am not from Germany or Mannheim?

Answer

Cities to visit for day trips: Heidelberg, Speyer, Frankfurt, and our very own Mannheim Mannheim: Explore the City (example street art, shopping, food, sunbathe by the rivers Neckar and Rhein: Rheinpark next to Lindenhof is recommended!!), Water tower "wasserturm", castle "Schloss", kick back with a chilled beer with Anu in the evening :)

For those attending Sangeet: Where do I park?

Answer

Lalafeld offers 1-3 parking places on site (including 1 handicapped parking). Rest can park on the street. Plenty are available.

Can I change into my Sangeet clothes at the location?

Answer

Of course :) If you are very shy (Like us) to travel in your Sangeet clothes, you can change at the location. If you have borrowed clothes, please return them before you leave so we can return them to the owner :)

Sangeet: How do I get to Lalafeld Hall?

Answer

You can either drive there (12 min from Mannheim main station) or take the Public transit Public Transit: Train to Mannheim Fridrichsfeld + 12 min walk OR Tram 1 + 2 buses with 5 min walk time Taxi from Mannheim main station will cost you 24-28€. This can be shared of course. If you would like to carpool with some of our friends, please let the bride/groom know in advance so we can get you in touch with the responsible party. This option will be first come first served basis.
