Greenport
Greenport Village is located about 10 minutes in on Long Island from your drive off the Cross Sound Ferry. Some of our favorite restaurants are Claudio's Waterfront (Dockside dining inside and out, with two harbor side bars. Live music on the wharf every weekend), Port (Low-key waterfront seafood and local drinks), and Noah's (Fine Dining featured on Food Network's Beat Bobby Flay).
Port Jefferson Harbor
About 10 minutes away from our ceremony location. Port Jefferson is a quaint waterfront village with great restaurants and bars. Restaurants and cafe's we recommend are Pasta Pasta (Romantic/Eclectic Italian), Ruvo (Modern Italian), Old Fields (Contemporary American/Steakhouse), The Steam Room (Steamers and a Bucket of Beer), Tiger Lily Cafe (Quirky Cafe and Juice Bar), Toast Coffeehouse (The best brunch) and Fifth Season (Seasonal Waterfront Eats). Great cocktails are found at Danfords (Outside Bar and Apps), Barito (Upbeat atmosphere with great margaritas), and Fifth Season (The best craft cocktails).
Long Island Wine Country
There's tons of great wineries, breweries, and distilleries! Our favorites are Pugliese, Palmer, Osprey Dominion, Kontokosta, Raphael, RGNY, Sparkling Pointe, Jamesport Brewery, and Riverhead Ciderhouse.
Sparkling Pointe
This deserves its own space although it's along LI wine country! For those of you who love being boujee, enjoy a glass of sparkling wine in a Modern French Artsy atmosphere.
New York City
We are about 1.5 hours away from The Big Apple. There's too many places in the city to start recommending, but we're sure you'll find something great to do! The Long Island Railroad (LIRR) is the easiest way in and out of the city. There is a station in Ronkonkoma, NY located close to the hotel, which is a direct route to Penn Station.
Fire Island
Davis Park, NY in Fire Island is a beach community that's unique because there are no cars allowed! A ferry is available 3 minutes away from our wedding reception in Patchogue, NY. A short 20 minute ride and you are in beach isolation.
Jake's 58 Hotel & Casino
This is where we have blocked off rooms for our guests and where the bridal party and guests will be celebrating after the wedding! This is a non-smoking casino and hotel. Our only request is that if you win big you split 50/50 with the bride and groom!
