Alexa the fabulous Bride and Co-Star of this Wedding. Alexa Emilia McKinnon, First of her name Druid of science, Lover of plants, Mother of dogs, and taker of long naps. As her title subjects, Alexa's personality has many unique facets. She is determined enough to have received a Master's Degree at Cal Poly for Environmental Engineering. Sufficiently wise enough to see the beauty in nature and want to fill her home with greenery. Overflowing with so much compassion for animals to have raised two amazing dogs and adopted Ian's cat. Although Alexa's first two choices for marriage, Peeta Mellark (from the Hunger Games) and Dean Winchester (from Supernatural), were both unavailable (being fictional characters), Ian is a solid third choice. Alexa is so glad she took that shot of tequila so she could have the confidence to meet up with him for their first date. Alexa is looking forward to spending her life with Ian!

Groom
Ian is the lucky Groom and the Co-Star of this fabulous Wedding. Ian is a true jack of all trades master of none. He is athletic enough to have enjoyed every sport form football to rock-climbing and nerdy enough to have seen every piece of Star Wars media. Ian's happy-go-lucky, goofy, and high energy personality is what draws people to him. He can truly make friends with any person he comes across and can talk your ear off about anything. His huge heart and kindness speak wonders to the man he is. This is what attracted Alexa, the more introverted of the two, to him. That and his spot on character impressions and goofy hair. Ian is just happy that Alexa actually showed up for their first date (She bailed on their original first date). Ian can't wait to spend the rest of his days with the Love of his life!
Abbey Johnson
Maid of Honor
Abbey and Alexa have been best friends since they met on the school bus at 12 years old. Through their 15+ years of friendship, they’ve shared laughter, deep talks, and a beautiful effort to stay close despite their distance. Abbey is an extremely talented artist in Austin, TX and Alexa and her family are constantly blown away by her gifts. One of Abbey’s favorite memories with Alexa is when she lived next door to her grandparents. She’d walk over and have the best time hanging out! She’s also loved their yearly visits since college and all the adventures that came with them. One of Alexa’s favorite memories is when they would have their binge eating days in high school where they would each eat their own medium cheese pizza and dessert pizza, lay on the couch all day, binge watching Supernatural. “I’m so honored to stand by Alexa on her big day! I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate her and Ian!!"
Skyler Morford
Best Man
Skyler is Ian's baby brother and they have been best friends since day one. They have always been inseparable, sharing many common interests including but not limited to anime, Star Wars, dogs, movies, rugby, Legos, D&D, and kilts. Skyler and Alexa have become like siblings, joking around with each other, and enjoying the same hobby, roasting to Ian.
Anna Snyder
Bridesmaid
Anna and Alexa met at Cal Poly studying Environmental Engineering together. They bonded over 7am classes, fantasy TV, and their love of dogs which manifested when Anna joined Alexa when she adopted Jackie, becoming the first dog-auntie. While living together during grad school at Cal Poly, they became lifelong friends. Anna lives in Morgan Hill, CA, where she spends her days crafting and is always on a hunt for a beautiful vintage, thrifted find. Alexa is so grateful for Anna for many things, especially dog sitting Jackie and helping Alexa out with class notes when Alexa would fall asleep during online classes.
Cole Penick
Groomsman
Cole and Ian's have been friends since elementary school. Believe it or not, Cole and Ian met in chess club. Cole and Ian spent years on the wrestling team together where they helped their team keep things tropical. One time in Las Vegas Cole lost his wallet somehow found it then proceeded to bet all his money on black twice and won $900 dollars.
Jenny Van Mechelen
Bridesmaid
Jenny and Alexa met while playing lacrosse at Cal Poly, kicking butt and causing bruises on defense. One of Alexa’s favorite memories was all the college days playing beer die. Especially when building Jenny’s beer die table and the two of them tied down a piece of 4x10 ply wood to Alexa’s car, hoping it didn’t fly away on the drive home. Jenny now lives in Portland, OR where she loves playing lacrosse and soccer, hiking with friends, hanging with her cat and dog, and cooking delicious food. One of her favorite memories of Alexa was watching the last season of Game of Thrones together where Alexa bawled her eyes out after the finale for almost an hour (true story, there’s video evidence). That or all the backyard hangs with her and Jackie!
Andrew Hirsch

Andrew and Ian met in middle school where the two of them got close when Andrew sat behind Ian in Mr. E's English class. Andrew and Ian have spent there many years of friendship trash talking each other's sports teams. Andrew is also the only man who was foolish enough to cheat off of Ian on a spelling test!
Laurel Galford
Bridesmaid
Laurel and Alexa met while getting jacked at the climbing gym. Their love of lifting weights and fantasy books led to a very quick and strong friendship! Laurel is originally from outside of Boston, Massachusetts and transplanted to Walnut Creek about the same time as Alexa did. Laurel is a very kind, empathetic, and loving human which translates well to her career as a therapist. One of Alexa’s favorite memory of the two of them is making Laurel laugh while she’s in the middle of a very heavy bench press, yelling at Laurel to “push!” As if she’s giving birth.
Dillon Savage
Groomsman
Dillon and Ian's met in college playing football together, where they annoyed all of their coaches. Dillon also helped Ian get a job at Gales Creek Camp. Dillon one time ate 10 Ice-cream sandwiched in a row to see how high he could get his blood glucose as a non-diabetic it peaked at 135.
