Why Vietnam?

Vietnam is such a gorgeous country and a dear place in our hearts, we wanted to bring together our family and friends for a celebration in a place where not many have visited before. There is so much to do in Vietnam with beautiful, scenic hikes in the north, sandy beaches in the south, and endless amounts of amazing food everywhere you go! Come celebrate our wedding and explore a spot which has a little something for everyone! Any questions? Reach out to us any time for help!

Languages

Vietnamese is the official language; English is increasingly favored as a second language and often times younger adults/teens will be able to help translate. Chinese/Cantonese are also common in some districts like District 5. There is a large population of expats in District 1 and 7 as well.

Travel Visa

If you're from the United States, you will need to get a Travel Visa in order to travel to Vietnam. You can get one in advance online for $25. Contact me if you're short on time or your visa does not come in time as there is an expedited visa option for $100. For other countries please check whether a visa is required.

Note of Caution

When traveling in Vietnam, ensure your belongings and valuables such as luggage, expensive jewelry, phones, purses are tightly guarded while in transit. This includes worn jewelry including rings, necklaces, and watches. It is not uncommon for petty theft to occur as Vietnam does export a high amount of tourism ~7-15% GDP. We have personally observed theft occurring within mere minutes of a tourist leaving their hotel in the past. When leaving your hotel room it’s advised to keep your passport on you and any items you would not want to lose. If possible leave these items at home to reduce your worries.
