You'll want to fly into Portland, Oregon as its only 40 minutes away from the venue and the largest airport in Oregon.
The cheapest time to book flights is going to be before June! Keep any eye out for especially low prices likely around February/March.
You will need to rent a car to get from Portland to Hood River. There are NO Ubers or Lyfts out in Hood River for the duration of the weekend! Your best bet is to grab a group of friends or family also attending and rent a car together to share on cost and to get around with ease. The car rental process is extremely easy at the airport but it's much better to reserve your car in advance. We will have a shuttle the night of the wedding doing more than one trip to ensure there is no drunk driving!
This is totally up to you. Ian and I plan on being there from Wednesday the 24th through Monday the 29th. You're welcome to join us the entire time, come earlier/stay later, or just come for the wedding!

Sadly, if we did not indicate a plus one on your invitation, we're not accepting additional plus ones. Since this is a destination wedding, we really want to make sure we know all of the people there with us well. Please do not take it personally!
Again, we apologize but we are doing no kids unless they are our immediate family/bridal party and were written on the invitation. We understand due to travel, that some people will not be able to make it unless they bring their kids with them. We love you all but are firm on this and ask that you respect our decision!
