Point Reyes Station
We come up here for weekend getaways. Point Reyes is super cute with a ton of fun little shops around. We love just finding a parking spot and walking through the shops. Our favorite Point Reyes food spots: -Cowgirl Creamery -Bovine Bakery -Cafe Reyes pizza -Side Street Kitchen
Inverness Beaches
These are some of our favorite beaches to visit in the area, in the order of least to most effort to access. The first two are our go-to options, but the others are great as well. -Chicken Ranch Beach --> swimming ok --> roadside parking -Shell Beach --> swimming ok --> parking lot (sometimes fills) --> short switch-back trail to the beach -->follow restroom signs to the second, often less windy, beach -Limantour Beach --> no swimming --> small parking lot -Kehoe Beach --> no swimming --> longer, pretty trail walk to the shore --> parking is limited, but lots of roadside overflow
Heidrun Meadery
Mead is alcohol made from honey and at Heidrum they cultivate their own honey. Even if you don't want to drink any mead, this place is worth checking out because it is ENCHANTING. Their tasting room/gift shop/greenhouse is seriously swoon-worthy!
Cypress Tree Tunnel
Just a super cool tree tunnel. And a great photo-op. Do it for the 'gram!
