Where is this happening?

Answer

We're having two parties! One is going to be in Northern California in Inverness at Ian's parents' home. The other is going to be in Ocean Beach at Madeleine's parents' home. Your save the dates/invitations should tell you which location and date you should be looking at, but of course if you're unsure let us know and we can clear things up.

Where should I stay?

Answer

INVERNESS At least around the night of the party, we recommend staying out in West Marin instead of San Francisco. The party location is a 1:30 drive from downtown San Francisco. There are no ridesharing or taxi services available in Inverness, but we will provide a shuttle service. See the travel page for details and suggestions. OCEAN BEACH Most of you all know the drill for visiting San Diego, and we haven't blocked off any hotels so...Wherever you want is great! If you need help deciding, you can always call!

What Should I Wear?

Answer

Basically your favorite outfit. But sensible shoes for sure; if you wanna wear heels, think blocks/wedges, not stilettos. No matter which party you're headed to, they will both be outside with uneven surfaces. The suggestion for Inverness is "Garden Attire" and there will be a prize for best fascinator. The suggestion for Ocean Beach is "Beach/Casual Attire" Garden Attire: Wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and fun hats and fascinators. Beach Attire: Wear linen pants, short-sleeved button downs, maxi dresses, and sandals. Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.
