Denver International Airport

Aspen is located in the picturesque Roaring Fork Valley in west-central Colorado. Driving here from major airport hubs and metropolitan areas is simple. The drive taking Independence pass takes about 3.5 hours, but is a true mountain pass (novice drivers beware!). The drive via I-70 through Glenwood is 4.5 hours. From Denver, you can travel on I-70 for 77 miles to exit 195 and the proceed south on Highway 91 to Leadville. From there, head south on Highway 24 to Highway 82 and drive over Independence Pass to Aspen, for a total driving distance of 159 miles. Independence Pass is 12,095 ft in elevation on the Continental Divide in the Sawatch Range of the Rocky Mountains. It has gorgeous views. Or exit I70 at Glenwood Springs, head 41 miles south and then east to Aspen on Highway 82. (Glenwood Springs is 157 miles west of Denver). Glenwood Springs canyon is beautiful and you can stop in Glenwood for the hot springs!

Aspen/Pitkin County Airport

Fly right right into Aspen and take a shuttle to your hotel. This airport offers shuttles, taxis, and car rental services as well. With many direct routes from Houston, LA, San Francisco, Austin, & Atlanta. American Airlines, United & Delta typically are the only airlines that fly into Aspen direct.

Grand Junction Regional Airport

Grand Junction is a great option and much closer than Denver! 2.5 hours away via I-70

Limelight Aspen is where we had our first date! It is a great location, very central to town and you could walk/bike to our venue. We have a call in rate here which is 7% off posted nightly rates.
