Ceremony

3:15 pm - 6:15 pm

There is something special about the forests of Oregon, so what better place to share our vows? We've found such beauty and inspiration there, and we are excited to share it with you! Our ceremony will take place in a small recreation area where we will celebrate our woodsy matrimony!

Please arrive at 2:45 for a 3:15 ceremony start time. Wildwood Recreation Site (specifically the Salmon River Shelter) is just over an hour from Portland. Carpooling is recommended! Please consult this sheet if you a) will have a car and can offer a ride to others or b) if you need a ride to and from the venue. The park charges a $5 fee per car. Once you leave the ticket booth, follow signs for the Salmon River shelter. You can access the Shelter by following the park road straight and not making any turns. When you reach the Shelter parking lot, continue driving through the circle to the third lot and look out for wedding signage. Seating will be limited so we are asking most people to stand for our brief ceremony. Please use any of the benches if you need a seat. Post ceremony we'll celebrate with light refreshments and then guests will be encouraged to head back to Portland or to explore the Mt. Hood area for the remainder of the evening.

5:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Wear more of your weird finery swag or cocktail attire - whatever you prefer.

Get your dancing shoes on, and let's party! We'll have dinner, drinks, music, and lots of time to hang out. Dinner will be catered by a local favorite of ours, Tamale Boy, who will provide an assortment of chicken, beef, and veggie tamales. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions when you RSVP. The address for the entrance to Irving Street Studio is 907 NW Irving Street - please use this entrance when you arrive. Our venue is a short walk away from our hotel blocks and can be easily accessed by car, bike, or public transit. The Ecotrust parking lot is adjacent to 10th avenue and is free to use for guests all day Saturday. There is also decent street parking around if the parking lot is full. Additional parking options include Lot #245 at 1460 NW Johnson St. and Station Place Parking Garage at 1025 NW Station Way. Ubers and Lyfts are a fantastic way to get around town.
