Brush up on that APUSH knowledge! Haris and Ian went here on their second date, where they also discovered their shared deeply nerdy love of trains and transportation infrastructure.
DaVinci, Degas, Monet, Pollock, Krasner, Rothko, and so many Dutch still lives! Visit the greats in either the east (modern and contemporary) or west (renaissance to impressionism) wings.
Haris can neither confirm nor deny anything about the narratives and stories presented here. This message will self destruct.
Haris & Ian ended their first date in the park, live a block and a half away, and Ian even has the DuPont Circle fountain tatooed on his left bicep. It's a gorgeous park in the center of a bustling neighborhood full of restaurants, shops, galleries, and homosexuals. Oh and on Sunday mornings before 1:30 pm, the biggest and best farmers market in the city is held due west of the circle.
Great food and cool local shops. Ian swears by the butcher here (shoutout to Harvey's Market!).
If you didn't get your fill of oysters at the reception, Pearl Dive has some of the best oysters Rockefeller in town according to Ian (a lifelong oyster expert).
Zdravo! Haris loves nothing more than sharing Bosnian culture with everyone around him, and Ambar is his favorite way to introduce people to Balkan cuisine and hospitality. Be sure to order the sarma and cevapi, and if you're feeling brave, a shot of rakija.
