Question

Where and when will the wedding take place?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception are being held at the beautiful Evergreen Lake House at 29612 Upper Bear Creek Rd, Evergreen, CO 80439. Due to the mountain location and time of year, you can call the House hotline at 720-880-1391 for road conditions and directions. The ceremony will start at 4PM. We urge guests to plan accordingly as the venue cannot admit late guests.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

The wedding will be a black-tie event. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear tuxedos or dark suits, and ladies may wear long gowns or formal cocktail dresses. We encourage guests to wear fall colors such a maroon, black, brown, orange, green and dark blue. Please keep in mind that the venue is lakeside and evenings can get cool—bring a wrap or jacket if needed! Reception will be held indoors.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Parking is onsite and free for all guests. The venue’s lot is just a short walk from the main event area.

Will there be food or drinks?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be serving a buffet after the ceremony—so come hungry. Unfortunately, due to the nature of food catering, we cannot guarantee that the food has not been in contact with major allergens such as peanuts, milk, soy, etc. Drinks will be available at our complimentary non-alcoholic beverage bar. Any outside beverages or alcohol is strictly prohibited per venue requirements

Are there designated smoking areas?

Answer

No, sorry! Due to the mountain location and high fire risk, the Evergreen Lake House has a strict no-smoking policy—this includes cigarettes, cigars, vapes, and any other smoking materials—on the property or grounds.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The venue features both indoor and outdoor spaces with beautiful lake and mountain views. The ceremony is planned for outdoors (weather permitting), with the reception inside the Lake House.

What’s the weather like in Evergreen?

Answer

Evergreen evenings can be cool, even in summer or early fall! We recommend bringing a wrap, light jacket, or other warm layers—especially if you plan to enjoy the outdoor deck or photo ops by the lake. Snow is unlikely in early October, but we caution guests to be aware and prepared for any weather Colorado may throw at us.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! Children are more than welcome. We’ll have coloring and craft kits to keep little hands busy, and there’s plenty of space outside for them to get the wiggles out while adults relax and enjoy the celebration.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! Due to our venue’s limited capacity, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If your invite includes a plus-one, their name will appear there. We kindly ask that guests refrain from bringing additional or casual dates so we can keep the celebration intimate and meaningful. Thank you for understanding and helping us make the day special for everyone invited!

Can we take photos or use our phones during the wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away for both the ceremony and reception. We want everyone to be fully present and enjoy the moment with us—no screens, just memories! Our photographer will capture everything, and we’ll happily share photos after the celebration.
