For our out-of-towners, Malpensa is the closest airport (25km / 35 min). Linate is the second closest (80km / 60 min). For anyone not renting a car, our local taxi service is reliable and costs €60 from MXP to our town. You can send a message on WhatsApp to 348-4264463 with flight details, and they will meet you at the airport on arrival.
For accommodations, we recommend our local hotel, La Locanda, which has a number of double and triple rooms available, and is within walking distance from our home and the lake.
There are some fabulous places to visit between Lake Monate and Lago Maggiore. We hope you all have some time to explore and enjoy this beautiful piece of the world as much as we do!

This is where we recommend our out-of-town guests stay as it is in the center of town and just a five-minute walk from our house and the lake.
