We're Getting Married!

Hayden and Rachel came from opposite sides of the country but somehow connected in beautiful San Diego, CA. He was following a dream and she was in her hometown, only an hour from the city. Both of them swore off online dating and somehow convinced themselves it was time to try it. She had been swiping through Hinge for 3 weeks and he had been swiping for 2 weeks when all of a sudden- they stood out to each other. Hayden made the first move and in late December 2022, they had their first FaceTime call. Both of them had been texting back and forth for a week but both were nervous to meet each other "face to face." That first FT call was filled with laughter, big smiles, long conversations, and many movie and TV quotes (Hayden and Rachel's language with each other). Rachel knew from that phone call that this guy was special as they spent 3 hours talking on that first call (which she did not even do with friends or family) and realized this was the guy for her. After more phone calls throughout the following weeks, they went on their first date January 7th, 2023 to Old Town San Diego for dinner and dancing and after a trip to Sunset Cliffs. As they stared into each other's eyes, they knew- this was something special. The first photo below is that very night and as they say- the rest was history...
