Moving to West Virginia on a whim has been one of our most memorable adventures to date. John Denver wasn't joking; the rugged beauty of this place mesmerizes us daily. Having you join us on this unforgettable weekend will be the greatest gift we could ask for. I mean, we won't turn down gifts, don't get us wrong. But being able to share these experiences with the people we love will mean more than the toaster on our registry ever will. There's something for every level of adventurer around here. New River Gorge National Park & Preserve

Gear up, adventure guests. America's newest national park is located only 20 minutes from our wedding venue. An engineering marvel of its time, the New River Gorge National Park boasts one of the tallest vehicular bridges in the world. It offers guests the second-most breathtaking views of the weekend, a distant runner-up behind the bride, of course. Whether it's hiking, rafting, or ziplining, the New River Gorge is an outdoor adventurer's dream. Oh, did we mention base jumpers will be plummeting off the bridge the morning of our wedding? Don't worry mom(s), we aren't included in those jumpers. Or are we? You'll see October 21st.

If you want a less strenuous sightseeing option, say yes to Babcock State Park. It's the place Jordan said yes to our forever adventure. You'll feel like you are stepping into a postcard as you gaze upon one of West Virginia's most iconic backdrops, featuring a stunning waterfall in front of the old Glade Crist Mill. It's a can't-miss stopping point. Are we biased? Hell yes, we are. But seriously, it's worth the drive.

This town will be hoppin' the weekend of our wedding due to Bridge Day taking place! Likely lots of fun festivities related to the event and some bars. It's a cute little town to check out if you have time.
