We’ll be down on the Gulf Coast from Thursday, June 11 through Saturday, June 20, 2026. This is our family vacation + wedding week rolled into one.
Our little crew will be staying in the Lost Key Resort community in the Perdido Key/Pensacola area, about a 20-25 minute drive from Gulf Shores and the Beach Pavilion. This area is the Florida/Alabama state line so LOTS to do!
Yes! We’re using Zola mostly for experience funds (family adventures, a little getaway for us, and some home projects) rather than lots of “stuff.” Your presence, prayers, and good vibes are truly the main gift.
The ceremony is on Monday, June 15, 2026. The ceremony will be at Gulf State Park’s Beach Pavilion on the Gulf of Mexico: 22250 East Beach Blvd, Gulf Shores, Alabama 36542. We’ll do a short vow ceremony and then celebrate under the pavilion.
Beach casual. Think: sundresses, nice shorts, linen, light shirts, sandals, bare feet in the sand. We’ll be on the beach and under an open-air pavilion, so comfort beats fancy! Feel free to let the kids wear bathing suits and run around in the water, too.
A: Yes, there is parking at Gulf State Park’s Beach Pavilion lot right by the boardwalk. As with other Gulf State Park beach areas, there is typically a parking fee, so bring a card or cash just in case.
The closest bigger options are Pensacola International Airport (PNS) and Mobile Regional, with Pensacola usually being the most convenient for where we’re staying. From there, it’s about 30–45 minutes to Gulf Shores depending on traffic.
