We Are Getting Married!

Evan Sparano and 胡一瑄 (Emily Hu) are from the opposite sides of the world, like polar bears and penguins. He grew up eating his favorite "Mom's Chicken Parmesan" while she grew up on her favorite "Mom's Braised Pork"; he was playing piano while she was practicing orienteering; he studied abroad in Spain while she studied abroad in California. On the other hand, polar bears and penguins share a lot of similarities. On August 30th, 2018, Evan and Emily met in Philadelphia, and since then, they became inseparable. They have similar world views, life goals, a love for knowledge, and of course a passion for food. Evan and Emily make endless happy memories together and face challenges as one. They cook together, travel together, work side-by-side... Let's witness Evan and Emily's new stage of life, together!

One very bright, sunny day, Evan and Emily went to Philadelphia for lunch. It was their first time dining out in over three months. Evan convinced Emily to go on a "short walk" which happened to pass by the place they had their first kiss - a garden near Love Park. They sat on the edge of that special fountain and were reminiscing when Evan suddenly went on one knee. - Will you marry me? - Yes! After many happy tears, some more photos with their secret photographers, Willa and Eric, and a great late lunch, they drove one and a half hours through the summer protests to Evan's home in South Jersey to celebrate this incredible day with family and friends.
